7th Asia-Pacific Congress on Catalysis

After the successful conclusion of APCAT-6 in Taiwan, the APCAT- 7 will be held for the first time in India. Therefore, we are immensely pleased to invite fellow scientists, academics, students and practitioners from industry spread all over the world for the mega event. The 7th Asia-Pacific Congress on Catalysis (APCAT-7) will be held in Mumbai, India on January 17-21, 2017. Mumbai (formerly Bombay) is a commercial and financial capital of India. The city which never sleeps is full of joy and vibrancy. There are several important historical places and tourist attractions in and around Mumbai.

APCAT-7 is going jointly hosted by the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai (www.ictmumbai.edu.in) and the Catalysis Society of India. Coincidentally both these organizations are headed by Professor G. D. Yadav who is also elected as the Chairman of APCAT-7.

APCAT-7 aims to provide a high-profile and internationally renowned forum for researches in catalysis science and technology, with the theme of "CATALYSIS FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT, PEACE AND PROSPERITY". The conference will cover major themes relevant to the Catalysis area through plenary and keynote lectures and invited talks. Besides oral and poster presentations along with competition for young students will be organized. Special issues of renowned journals are planned in the usual tradition. Delegates not only from Asia Pacific region but over 40 different countries are expected to participate.

The tentative list (but not limited to) of proposed technical sessions is as follows:
